The "Once upon today... during the Corona pandemic" workshop takes place at the NECE Campus of the conference “Networking European Citizenship Education” (NECE). The NECE Campus (August to October 2020), offers a wide range of digital learning and networking opportunities for educators, experts in citizenship education, civil society actors and other citizens.
About the workshop: „Once upon today… in Europe“ is a project that approaches issues of belonging, identity and historical narratives from a diversity-aware perspective. Since 2012 it has brought together participants from seven countries in international trainings, workshops and youth meetings. Over the course of the project, a variety of new methods has been developed. Building on these experiences, we would like to invite participants to share their experiences during the Corona pandemic in an interactive online workshop while getting to know some of our tools. The workshop also offers a space for exchanging and exploring innovative ways in civic education to deal with the current situation.
