International Roma Day, celebrated annually on April 8th, honors the rich culture, history and contributions of Roma people around the world. The North Macedonian film Housekeeping for Beginners celebrates the diversity of life. To mark the week of International Roma Day, the Protestant Academy Berlin and the Critical Film & Image Hub at the Research Centre for Antigypsyism (Heidelberg University) are launching the film series I Spy with My Little Eye: Antigypsyism in Film with this special screening.
